Active Physiotherapy is a fantastic place to work. There is a very supportive team culture and there is great diversity in interests that each team member has so there is always someone to bounce ideas off. As a new grad I also believe Active is a great place to work with their well-structured mentoring program. I am grateful for all the opportunities I have been given at Active to develop as a physiotherapist.

As a clinician, you are provided with ongoing professional development through both formal internal and external training, as well as valuable informal learning opportunities from colleagues with diverse clinical interests and expertise. The administration team is highly supportive and works to make the day-to-day demands on clinicians as smooth as possible. Management actively supports clinicians in developing their ideal caseload and is committed to ensuring your time at Active is professionally rewarding and fulfilling. I'm very grateful for my time at Active Physiotherapy. I've made some great friendships and grown considerably as a clinician. It will always be my first choice of employment when working in the Mackay region.

As a new graduate at Active Physio, one of the biggest positives is how supportive the team is. There’s a great mix of senior physios with different areas of expertise who not only run teaching sessions but are always approachable and happy to help with any complex cases or questions. This makes a big difference as a new grad, as you’re constantly learning but never feel like you’re on your own or without someone to turn to. I think what stands out most is the balance between support and independence. I’ve been encouraged to develop my own clinical reasoning while knowing I have guidance whenever it’s needed. Combined with a very positive team culture, it has created a great environment to grow in.
