At Active Physiotherapy Mackay, our initial consultation fee reflects the extended time allocated for a detailed assessment. This includes a comprehensive interview to fully understand your condition and goals.
Follow-up appointments for the same condition – within 3 months of your last visit – are billed at a reduced subsequent consultation rate.
Private patients are required to pay on the day of their appointment. We offer on-the-spot health fund rebates through HICAPS, and accept EFTPOS and major credit cards.
We are registered physiotherapy providers with:
- WorkCover Queensland
- Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA)
- NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme)
- My Aged Care
- Medicare

Appointment Policy
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for any appointment cancellations or changes. If this notice is not provided, we require prepayment for the appointment. Please note: this prepaid amount is non-refundable if you do not attend.
